Dozen Bakery

Dozen's focus is on using high-quality local and organic ingredients to make the best sweets possible. Quality and freshness are our top concern. In addition to custom orders and event caterings, Dozen sells out of the farmers markets around town and to some great local businesses.

Moringa Madres

Moringa Madres* fall under the umbrella of Operation Feed SJC. The Madres (spanish for mothers) grow and harvest Moringa leaves in order to make a living and support their families.

Hope Tea

Hope Tea*   is a social enterprise that partners with local Ugandan tea growers to support the Friends of Canon Gideon Foundation in providing holistic education to vulnerable youth in Uganda who face challenges such as poverty, high incidences of HIV and AIDS, unemployment, and socially sanctioned violence.

Chai Wallah

Chai Wallah  gratefully employs women who have experienced homelessness to help produce and sell the Chai. You support these Wallahs by seeking out and buying our tea, and supporting our social enterprise

A Ban Against Neglect

A Ban Against Neglect* works to transform an environmental epidemic into hope by empowering young impoverished women in Ghana and providing them with the tools necessary to practice a trade, make a living, and become self-reliant leaders of their community. In the process they recycle 3,000 plastic bags per week, changing them into unique, handmade products.

Haulin’ Oats

Haulin’ Oats  is all packaged in a traditional glass mason jar for flavor enhancement, reusable qualities, and easy eating on the go. Gourmet blends of fruits and nuts unique to each of the Haulin’ Oats different flavors Organic rolled oats topped with brown sugar, flaxseed and a variety of spices for unique flavor and added health benefits. Each jar starts with a rich blend of almond butter and coconut oil.

Lwala Community Alliance

The Lwala Community Alliance*is a non-profit health and development agency founded by Drs. Milton and Fred Ochieng’, who are natives of Lwala, a rural village in the Nyanza Province of western Kenya. Milton and Fred lost their parents to HIV while in college in the U.S. and took this as a call to action to provide access to primary care in their community. During medical school at Vanderbilt, the brothers did all they could to raise the funds to start a clinic back at home. Their story is the subject of the documentary “Sons of Lwala” and has been featured on ABC World News and CNN.
